Hi, I am Mircea Gherman, a software engineer from Sibiu, Romania.
After more than 10 years of software development I kept my enthusiasm regarding this field. I am very passionate about web development with Ruby on Rails and agile practices. I like beautiful websites and great ideas. When I'm not near a computer, I am involved in some non-geeky activities, like hiking the mountains, riding the bike (I co-own a tandem bike), or just traveling, meeting people, seeing places.
My latest online project is http://nunta.lu, a web platform for young couples to share their wedding experiences.
I'm currently working as a software developer at Industrial Software Ruby Tribe, and in my free time I work on http://2caiputere.ro, a web application to share some facts about riding my tandem or posting updates about my trips with the tandem.
